Dalla parte dei pinguini
by Anna Piussi
No garden has a truly impossible location, just plants ill-chosen for their site. There are plants suitable for any soil, exposure and location, since plants colonise anywhere from rooftops to cave interiors. We need to look at what we have to play with, the soil, exposure, humidity, and then consult the huge book of nature to find what would thrive there, setting aside the preconceptions of what we’d like to grow, to find what would like to grow there.
